DRAKE DISSES CHANCE THE RAPPER ON "DRAFT DAY"
Drake returns with “Draft Day,” affirming his five-year spot as the proverbial #1 pick in the league (he even references Johnny Manziel in his official artwork). He uses a Boi-1da-produced track employing a Lauryn Hill sampled vocal. Drake talks extra cocky on this one, and check these subliminal lines out.
Drake kinda shoots a dismissive brushback line towards Chance The Rapper, who may be believed to be one of the other top prospects on “Draft Day.”
Here’s what he said there: “And if I would’ve left shit to chance, I probably would have picked a name like Chance The Rapper / No offense, ’cause I don’t know that nigga.”
