FORBES RANKS TOP ENTREPRENEURIAL UNIVERSITIES

Whether it’s the University of Chicago’s Chicago Innovation Exchange, Northwestern University’s INVO, or the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Innovation Center, new business ideas are forming every day at Chicago Schools. UIC has its Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, there’s the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship at Northwestern, the Coleman Entrepreneurship center at DePaul, and entrepreneurship is the second largest concentration at UChicago with the Polsky Center.
But there’s a new list by Forbes that seems to indicate that Chicago colleges aren’t producing new business owners at the rate of other schools.
Northwestern was the only Chicago school to crack the list, and it came in at 26. The only other Illinois school named was Southern Illinois University Carbondale at 37.
