The Radio 30 is also based on a complex rubric that doesn’t just involve how popular one’s show is. While that plays a role, it’s also important how many markets a show reaches, the impact a particular personality has in the grand scheme of Hip-Hop radio and culture, and of course, the moments. The moments that will be talked about for years to come–a lot of them still happen on the country’s most prolific and prominent radio shows.
