DERRICK ROSE MAKES UNTIED CENTER RETURN

For the first time since April 28, 2012, Derrick Rose was back in action at the United Center in Chicago. In 22 minutes, Rose shot 6 for 9 from the field for 22 points while grabbing two rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists. Even more promising, he showed flashes of the explosiveness that earned him NBA MVP honors for the 2010-2011 season.
