MUSIC NEWS: FILMON RECORD LABEL SUES CHIEF KEEF & MANAGEMENT FOR MILLIONS
Chief Keef's associates have been hit with a million-dollar lawsuit by his FilmOn label for breach of contract and various management issues following the release of unauthorized music, according to legal documents obtained by Billboard.
"Since May 2015, Chief Keef has breached the Agreement by arbitrarily and capriciously recording, writing, selling merchandise and performing outside of the Agreement," the lawsuit reads.
The rapper's Glo Gang manager, Idris “Peeda Pan” Abdul Wahid, as well as producers Zaytoven, Metro Boomin', Sonny Digital and DJ Holiday are cited in the suit for their contributions to Chief Keef's recently released projects, Finally Rollin' 2 (which dropped in November) and Nobody 2, released earlier this month.
