Three of the top boys basketball teams in the Public League this season, Bogan, Uplift and Hyde Park, have been declared ineligible for the Illinois High School Association playoffs for playing too mant games.
The IHSA announced the ruling in a written statement Monday afternoon. Bogan and Hyde Park were the top two seeds in the Class 3A Vocational Sectional, while Uplift was seeded second in the Class 3A Antioch Sectional. The state playoffs begin March 3.
