SIMEONS NEXT BIG STARS

Zack Norvell, Jr. had as big a freshman season at Chicago basketball powerhouse Simeon Career Academy as anyone could imagine. Last season (as an 8th grader) Norvell led Beasley Elementary to a 8th Grade City Championship (watch Ballislife video). This season, Norvell led Simeon's Sophomore squad to an impressive undefeated season, culinating in the Chicago City Title. Once theSophomore season ended, Norvell re-joined the Varsity squad, coming off the bench to help the Simeon Wolverines win their fourth consecutive Illinois 4A State Championship. The 6'4 Class of 2016 Guard is already catching the attention of high-major coaches with his long-range shooting, competitive nature, court vision and scoring abilities. Here are some Zack Norvell basketball highlights from Chicago public school Simeon Career Academy's Sophomore and Varsity seasons.
Ben Coupet Jr. Sophomore Season Mix (Chicago Simeon 2016): The smooth 6'6 freshman forward has played major minutes all season with Simeon's undefeated Sophomore team. He's come of the bench for the loaded varsity team. In either role, young Ben Coupet Jr. has been lighting up Chicago's South Side.
