FORMER MR ILLINOIS BASKETBALL STAR ARRESTED AGAIN
Jereme Richmond was ordered back to jail this morning after he was accused of making threats against his probation officer, Weeks shy of completing his probation on an earlier weapons charge. The jailing is the latest is a long series of legal and professional setbacks since Richmond, named Mr. Basketball in 2010, left the University of Illinois team after one season in a failed bid to play for the NBA. A few months later, Richmond was arrested and charged with punching his girlfriend and threatening her family with a gun. In January 2012, he pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.
