The Bears, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, will sign defensive lineman Akiem Hicks to a four-year, $48 million contract extension that includes $30 million guaranteed.
Hicks was due to hit free agency after the 2017 season but was one of the Bears' best players last year, totaling seven sacks and starting all 16 games.
