Everything else that happened in the Bears’ 48-23 loss to the Cardinals seemed like a footnote to the big news.
With just over 3:00 left in the 3rd quarter, Jay Cutler threw an interception to Tony Jefferson, which was returned for a touchdown. On that play, the Bears quarterback tried to make the tackle, but face-planted and landed hard on his throwing arm.
Cutler was taken to the locker room for evaluation.
