NEWS: AIRBNB GOES BAD FOR CHICAGO MAN

If you’ve ever had roommates, you probably have a roommate horror story. But one Chicago condo owner clearly has one of the worst, after he returned home to find out the person he rented a room to had secretly put the rest of his condo on Airbnb.

Robert Corwin told CBS Chicago that he splits his time between the West Coast and his West Town condo. When he recently returned home to Chicago, he found a young couple in his bed, his liquor supply was depleted and there was a hookah on the dining room table.

“Your imagination goes crazy,” Corwin said. “What’s been going on? It could be everything from orgies to drugs.”

He says as he escorted the couple out of his condo, they told Corwin they rented the room on Airbnb, the short-term apartment renting service.
