NEWS: CHANCE THE RAPPER RAISES OVER 100,000 FOR THE HOMELESS

Chance The Rapper and The Empowerment Plan Detroit have raised over $100,000 in their "Warmest Winter" initiative to provide Chicago homeless with winter coats.

The campaign which started on December 16 hit the targeted milestone last Friday, enabling over 1,000 of the water-resistant coats that double as sleeping bags to be produced and distributed to needy people.

Fundraising doesn't close until January 13.
