MUSIC NEWS: CHICAGO'S OWN NO I.D. CONTINUES TO MOVE UP AT DEF JAM

Billboard reports that No I.D. was just promoted from the co-head of A&R to the executive vice president and will be overseeing all the A&R activities at the label. Aside from his new duties as an executive, he will still be running things at his label ARTium Records, which artists like Common and Jhene Aiko call home.
