REAL ESTATE: CHICAGO BLUES MUSEUM COMING IN 2019

Chicago blues will soon have a downtown museum dedicated to telling its story. The Chicago Blues Experience, a privately run, 50,000-square-foot facility, is slated to open in spring 2019 near Millennium Park.

The lease for the facility will be signed late today, said Sona Wang, managing director and co-founder of the Blues Experience. The building, at 25 E. Washington St., is owned by Trump Group, an Aventura, Fla.-based private investment firm not affiliated with President Donald Trump.

I am Young Dolo ' A rapper, singer, songwriter and father.

2. When did you decide to make a career of music, and what inspired that?

I've always been involved in music, from elementary school i started as a drummer for my school band and explored all the instruments that where available which then opened me up to even more than I can imagine but I made a career of it when I realized that I was able to encourage and send chills through my peers .

3. Whats been the most memorable moment of your grind thus far?

The most memorable moment was opening up for Young Scooter and Snootie Wild in STL for ZoEnt.

4. How do you deal with writers-block?

I never really have writers block because the music always allows to create some type of Image of something that's common or relate able.

5. Dead Or alive if you could feature with one artist, who & why?

If I could have a feature with anyone it would be 2pac why because of his artistry and he spoke on truth, current situations and past in which are both always valid when it comes to life.

6. What are you currently promoting or working on? I'm currently working on my 4th mixtape BSV4" Boss ShytVol4 Tales of A hustler.

7. Where do you see yourself the next 3-5 years?

In the next 3-5 years I see my self as being a artist who becomes someone who comes into the game and creates a eye opener for millions of ppl who've been going through the struggle, a game changer an entrepreneur.

Jerry Krause, the general manager who orchestrated the Chicago Bulls’ dynasty of the 1990s, assembling the teams that Michael Jordan led to six N.B.A. championships, has died. He was 77.

The Bulls announced his death on Tuesday, giving no other details. The Chicago Tribune reported that he had been treated for osteomyelitis, a bone infection, among other health problems.

Jay Cutler was released Thursday by the Bears at the start of free agency after spending eight seasons with the team.

A few hours later, Cutler sent a message to the Chicago fans who supported him throughout all the seasons:

“I would like to first thank the city of Chicago and its passionate fans for a memorable eight years. I grew up in Indiana rooting for the Bears as a kid, so it was an honor to wear the Bears uniform and play quarterback at Soldier Field for my favorite childhood team.

University of Illinois Director of Athletics Josh Whitman announced Saturday that John Groce has been relieved of his duties as head men’s basketball coach effective immediately.

Groce averaged 19 wins per year during his five seasons at Illinois, compiling a 95-75 record overall and 37-53 in Big Ten play. He led the Fighting Illini to 23 wins and an NCAA Tournament Round of 32 appearance in his inaugural season in 2013, followed by consecutive NIT bids in 2014 and 2015. He is 180-131 in nine seasons as a head coach, following an 85-56 record in four years at Ohio.

EDUCATION: CHANCE THE RAPPER DONATES 1 MILLION TO CPS

Chance the Rapper held a press conference at Westcott Elementary School in Chicago to announce that he is donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. “Our kids should not be held hostage because of political positions,” he said. He later revealed that he and Common will speak on the phone to discuss further funding. The announcement follows his meeting with Illinois governor Bruce Rauner last week, where they discussed public education and other “important issues affecting” the city of Chicago and Illinois as a whole. Immediately following the meeting, Chance expressed his frustration, saying, “It went a little different than it should have,” and that he was given vague answers when speaking with the governor. At the press conference, he reiterated that Gov. Rauner gave him “vague” answers, and shouted, “Gov. Rauner, do your job!”
